Museo Salvatore Ferragamo

Palazzo Spini Feroni - the basement has the Ferragamo Museum

The Salvatore Ferragamo Museum is a private museum dedicated to the history of the Ferragamo company, specifically women’s shoes. The museum is in the basement of the Palazzo Spini Feroni. Entrance is on the side of the palazzo furthest from the river, Piazza di Santa Trinita where the, you guessed it, church of Santa Trinita is. The museum is a fun little stop on a weekend. For five Euros you get a small exhibit (several rooms) and a movie in English and Italian. (Full disclosure: we both were wearing our Ferragamos when we went.)
